학교특징
Onehunga High School 은 오클랜드 시내에서 15분 정도 떨어진 주택가에 위치하고 있으며, 마누카우 하버를 내려다보이는 오클랜드의 가장 오래된 주거지역 중 하나에 위치해 있습니다. 많은 학생과 가족들은 이 지역에서 긴 역사를 함께하고 있으며 전통을 중시하며 지속해 나가려고 노력하고 있습니다.
오네헝아 고등학교는 성공적인 남녀공학 교육을 하고 있으며, 다문화 학교로서 인터내셔널 고등학교로 발돋음하고 있습니다. 훌륭한 교육적 기회를 제공함으로서 높은 학업성취를 즐겁게 하며 자신감을 가질 수 있게 지원을 하고, 학교 내에 커뮤니티 교육 프로그램과 Building n Construction 프로그램이 개설되어 있어, 관심있는 분야를 좀 더 공부하며, 개인의 재능과 취향을 이끌어줍니다.

유학생케어
현재 약 30명정도의 외국학생들이 공부하고 있는 오네헝가 고등학교는 경험에서 우러나온 케어를 하고 있고, 뉴질랜드 학생들과 유학생들과의 우정을 돈독히 하도록 버디 시스템을 운영하고 있습니다. 또한 영어가 모국어가 아닌 학생들을 위해 10주동안 영어에 집중하도록 엑스트라 영어코스를 ESOL클래스에서 제공, 자격을 갖춘 ESOL 교사에게 과목및 영어에 대한 도움을 받습니다.

오네헝아 고등학교는 학생들의 건전한 활동을 위해 다양한 액티비티를 운영하고 있습니다.
2012년 세계 로보틱대회 챔피언인 오네헝아 고등학교 로보틱팀인 SymviOHS 와 함께 연극반, 댄스반등이 정규적인 공연을 하며활동하고 있습니다. 스포츠 역시 다양한 활동을 하고 있는데 Athletics,Badminton,Basketball,Cricket,Cross Country,Duathlon,Golf,Hockey, Netball,Outrigger Canoeing,Rowing,Rugby,Skiing,Snowboarding,Soccer,Softball,Spirit of NZ,Swimming,Table Tennis,Triathlon,Volleyball, Water Polo 을 즐길 수 있습니다.
